Okay, pet store was still pretty scary for me. I did however go to the dog park and had a wonderful time exploring and meeting other dogs. When I got out of sight my foster mom gave me the "come" command and I ran right to her. She was SO proud of me! I'm still taking my walks everyday and love to play with my stuffie toys. I fling them up in the air and try to catch them. Once I get to know you I love to lean on you and get lots of love and petting. I hope there is someone out there who doesn't mind that I am not a social butterfly but will be totally devoted to my family. Talk with ya soon, Marnier

Hello again! I hope you had a great 4th of July, I sure did. The fireworks did not bother me at all (I wish I could say the same for my foster brother). I am showing quite a bit more energy now and love to do zoomies around the yard. I got busted drinking out of the toilet the other day but hey, looks like a fancy water bowl to me! I'm still learning :) My foster brothers birthday was last week and we all got this stuff called Frosty Paws, WOW was that stuff great! I was a good girl and ate my own and did not bother anyone else. I just can't wait til another birthday comes around. I'm still shy with strangers but am perfectly comfortable with my foster family after only being here a couple weeks so it really doesn't take long for me to warm up. Going to try the pet store again in a day or two. Will let ya know how I do. Marnier

Hi Everyone! I am doing well here at my foster home. Now that I am use to these new people I am showing a bit more of my spunk and personality. I take toys out of the big toy box and play with them myself. I also found this thing called a NylaBone that I enjoy chewing on. I took my first trip to PetSmart and found that the sliding doors going into the building were pretty scary. I finally made it through with the help of my Foster brother (another greyhound)who let me lean against him as we went through together. The people inside were very nice to me and I even let some of them pet on me. Maybe next time I go I will be able to go in those scary doors all by myself. Since I am lacking in confidence I sure hope to find a home that has another dog who will help me out like my foster dog does. I'm doing super good with my pottys and have have NO accidents in the house - yea! Since I am scared of peoples when I first meet them we are working hard on the "come" command and I have been doing pretty good with that. The "stay" command is still a puzzle to me but I'm gunna keep on trying. I'm eager to please! Marnier

Hey, is there anyone out there that can understand what it is like to meet new people and feel a little shy and uncomfortable. Ya know that after you spend some time with these people you can relax a little and be more of yourself? If you can relate to this then maybe you can understand how I feel. I'm a really beautiful petite girl who loves other dogs, cats and children, it's just adults that make me nervous. If you can be a little patient with me and give me a little time I will warm right up and become your bestest friend. Having other dogs around help build my confidence so if you already have a dog that's fine with me! I love to nestle my head in your lap and get pets. I play with my toys and taking walks is my very favorite thing to do. I will take treats gently from your hand and eat all my breakfast and dinner right up. I have spent several hours out of my crate with my other dog friends and haven't had any accidents or destroyed anything in the house when my foster mom and dad are away. At night I usually put myself in my crate and stay there until morning. I'm a very quiet girl and never bark. I will have little spirts of energy and play but am mostly a pretty laid back lady. If you feel you can be a little patient with me a give me a little time to come out of my shell you will see what a wonderful girl I am. Looking for a FOREVER home, Marnier
